Well done Knightsfield!

Thursday 6th June – Essex & Herts Air Ambulance

On Thursday 6th June, a selection of our students visited the Herts and Essex Air Ambulance base in Epping. We wanted to find out how this extremely worthwhile charity operates. The students were able to watch the helicopter land and had a very interesting discussion with the doctor and paramedic who were on board. Volunteers explained to us how the charity works and what everyone’s donations mean to them. Did you know it takes £1 000,000 a month to keep the charity operational!
All the students represented Knightsfield beautifully and they are now hoping to deliver an assembly about this wonderful charity to the whole school in September.
