Yesterday a selection of KS3 students were invited to St John’s church in Digswell to ring the bells in honour of the VE Day 80th celebrations. It was a wonderful opportunity and our students even got to hear about and see photographs from church member Mary and her parents who joined in the original street parties back in 1945!

Each student received a commemorative badge completing our day of remembering which included a whole school assembly to explain why it is important to remember this special time in history.
