All the staff at Knightsfield encourage children to recognise and understand different emotions and how they might make them feel and recognise the importance of supporting young people’s emotional wellbeing. Through our pastoral work we support  children in recognising how to express their emotions, build resilience, and develop positive mental health habits that will benefit them for life.

We at Knightsfield are continuing to support our students in many areas of mental health and wellbeing. One of the areas we work on throughout school is building resilience and we are sharing our ‘5 Tips to Build Resilience’ with you to help support your child at home too.
Resilience is a great skill for us all to develop as we navigate life and the challenges we face so try these top tips with your child and support them to grow the strategies needed to help them now and in the future.
